Come join us as we learn and perfect the 18 Lohan Hands form! Movements are slow and gentle, allowing an inner awareness to develop. Email me (dmandrakos@aol.com) if you are interested in attending and I will send you the invitation with the link each week. Please have a mat and water with you.

This class introduces you to the healing arts of Qigong, Yoga and Meditation. Qigong is a moving meditation that is both relaxing and invigorating. Yoga helps increase strength and flexibility. Meditation helps clear the mind and improve concentration. This 10 week session is running though the Cold Spring Harbor Library. There is no fee for classes and you don’t have to be a Cold Spring Harbor resident to sign up. Register each week on their website. You will be sent an invitation with the link to attend each time you sign up. Please have a mat, water and access to a wall or chair available.

Come enjoy Forrest Yoga which focuses on strength, breath, integrity and spirit. This program is running through the Garden City Library. This ancient Chinese form of exercise is similar to tai chi. You will be introduced to the 18 Lohan Hands–a fluid, dancelike, moving meditation handed down from the Shaolin Temple. Qigong helps to reduce stress and anxiety, increase strength and flexibility and lift your spirit! This program is running through the Amityville Library. There is no fee for classes and you don’t have to be an Amityville resident to register. Sign up for the eight week session on their website. You will be sent an invitation with the link to attend each week. Please have a mat and water with you.
