Happy Memorial Day and a big thank you to all of our veterans! I have some good news: I will be starting up studio classes again beginning on Monday, June 7th at 9:30 with Qigong. Finally! I look forward to seeing you in person again! Because space is limited to five people, I ask that you please let me know by email or text if you plan on attending.
My library classes are continuing on zoom throughout the summer. Here is the information for the current classes I am teaching:

This class introduces you to the healing arts of qigong, yoga and meditation. Qigong is a moving meditation that is both relaxing and invigorating. Yoga helps build strength and flexibility. Meditation helps clear the mind and improve concentration. There is currently no fee for classes and you don’t have to be a Cold Spring Harbor resident to register. Sign up each week on their website. You will be sent an invitation with the link to attend each time you sign up. Please have a mat and water with you.
TUESDAY MORNINGS

This ancient Chinese form of exercise is similar to tai chi. You will be introduced to the 18 Lohan Hands — a fluid, dancelike moving meditation handed down from the Shaolin Temple.
