Here are two new library classes that begin again in January.
Restorative Yoga with Reiki (Fridays, Jan. 12, 19, 26 Feb. 2, 9, 16)
9:30-10:30 a.m.
Allow yourself the opportunity to rest and relax your body, mind and soul in this replenishing class. Props are used to support the body and help release tension. Reiki is a healing modality that encourages a sense of calm and well being. You will leave class feeling refreshed and renewed. Please bring a block, a bolster, a belt, a blanket and an eye pillow or washcloth. This class is held at the Huntington Public Library Station Branch. Register online or in person at the library beginning on January 2nd.
Forrest Yoga (Fridays, Jan. 12, 19, 26 Feb. 2, 9, 16)
11:15-12:15
Focusing on strength, breath, integrity and spirit, Forrest Yoga is a mindful, physical practice where poses are held longer in sequences to help integrate emotions. Beginners welcome! This class is held at the Cold Spring Harbor Library. Registration is open at the library now.

Monday Mornings
QiGong 9:30-10:30 am
$20 pay per class
Relaxing and invigorating, Qigong is similar to tai chi in that it is a meditative movement practice designed to help relieve stress and anxiety. We work on the 18 Lohan Hands, a beautiful, ancient form handed down from the Shaolin Temple in China.
Tuesday Evenings
Fitness Fusion 7:00-8:00 pm
$20 pay per class
Introducing the disciplines of yoga, qigong and meditation, this class is a great way to get started on fitness in the new year. Beginners welcome! Let me know if you can come each week.
