What exactly is REIKI? Reiki is a Japanese healing modality that works with the body’s energy system to balance itself towards better health. Reiki works with the body’s energetic meridian system. Just like we have veins and arteries running through our bodies, we also have lines of energy, called meridians, that deliver CHI (life force energy) to every cell in the body. If the flow of energy along these lines is moving smoothly, we are in a state of good health. If the energy is blocked or there is too much energy in a certain area, it can lead to disharmony and sometimes disease. Reiki helps to relieve stress and pain as well as unblock stuck energy.
